Save TasTAFE:
Petition: Sack TasTAFE’s CEO & Board
TasTAFE’s CEO and Board are planning to cut another $45 million from public education & training. If these cuts go ahead, more courses will vanish and more than 100 educators will be sacked.
This will decimate TasTAFE.
Premier Jeremy Rockliff must step in to save TAFE by sacking TasTAFE’s scandal-plagued CEO & Board.
TasTAFE management have already axed 12 courses and sacked more than thirty staff.
Now CEO Norman Baker has announced his plan to cut $45m – this could mean as much as 15% of TasTAFE’s workforce, or more than 100 jobs.
Sign our petition calling on Premier Rockliff to sack TasTAFE’s Board and save publicly-owned VET before it’s too late.
TasTAFE is essential to Tasmania’s future.
